Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this invention is to provide a porous composite film suitable for a separator for a battery having superior cycle properties. Provided is a porous composite film obtained by layering: a porous substrate; and a porous layer on at least one surface of the porous substrate, said porous layer including a fluorine-containing resin and satisfying the following requirements (i), (ii) and (iii). (i) The porous layer has a cross-section void area distribution D150 value of 0.06-0.38Mum2, and a cross-section void area distribution D190 value of 0.20-1.15Mum2. (ii) The porous layer has a surface pore area distribution D250 value of 0.0060-0.0072Mum2, and a surface pore area distribution D290 value of 0.0195-0.0220Mum2.
