The preparation method comprises (1) uniformly grinding 5-30 parts by mass of toner, 1-5 parts by mass of a stabilizer, 1-5 parts by mass of a wetting agent and 50-100 parts by mass of water to obtain toner dispersion; (2) adding 2.5 to 30 parts by mass of a prepolymer into the toner dispersion, mixing evenly, adjusting the pH value to 1 to 5, and performing condensation reaction for 2 to 5 hours to obtain a coated toner mixed solution; (3) heating the coated toner mixed solution to 50-80 DEG C, adding 1-5 parts by mass of a cationic modifier, dropwise adding a mixed solution consisting of 5-30 parts by mass of a hydrophilic monomer and an initiator within 1 hour, continuing the reaction for 1-2 hours, cooling to room temperature, and adjusting the pH to 8-9 to obtain paper product papermaking coloring color paste.
