The invention provides a field optical fiber connector which comprises a shell and a quick end forming assembly arranged in the shell, wherein the quick end forming assembly comprises a switching contact pin consisting of an inserting core structure and a prefabricated optical fiber pre-embedded in the inserting core structure; the quick end forming assembly also comprises a field optical fiber inserting core body and a butt joint pipe, wherein the field optical fiber inserting core body is in butt joint with the inserting core structure along the axial direction, the butt joint pipe fixedly sleeves outside the inserting core structure and the field optical fiber inserting core body; the butt joint pipe is a closed sleeve or an open sleeve; the field optical fiber inserting core body is provided with a field optical fiber through hole therein, the field optical fiber through hole is coaxially arranged with the prefabricated optical fiber and is used for penetration of the front end ofthe field optical fiber t
