Even in the case that a learning flag (Fys) and an ACC permission flag (Facc) are not set (step S5: NO to step S4: NO), if a power switch (23) isin an ON state (step S1: YES), a travel control (step S9) of a second control state (a traffic jam follow-up function), which is capable of being executed in a setting in which an inter-vehicle distance setting is a short setting or a host vehicle velocity setting is a low setting, is carried out.
