The embodiment of the invention provides a task allocation method and system for a fog computing system. The method comprises: acquiring a task optimization target of the fog computing system and a constraint condition corresponding to the task optimization target; determining a to-be-processed task set and related information in the fog computing system; and based on a capacity constraint distribution estimation algorithm, allocating tasks in the to-be-processed task set so as to optimize the task optimization target under the constraint condition corresponding to the task optimization target.
