The invention discloses a separated rotary type outdoor multipurpose socket. The socket comprises a connecting box. A plurality of separation blocks are arranged on one side of the connecting box. Theplurality of separation blocks are connected with one another. An electric wire is arranged in the center of the side, away from the separation blocks, of the connecting box. One end, far away from the connecting box, of the electric wire is fixedly connected with a plug. Rotating blocks are horizontally arranged in the centers of the tops and the bottoms of the separation blocks. A connecting rod is arranged in each separation block. The rotating blocks correspond to the connecting rods in position. An inserting opening is formed in each rotating block. Protection pieces are arranged at theends, away from the connecting rods, of the rotating blocks. Rotating grooves are formed in sides of the rotating blocks. Two round holes are formed in one side of each protection piece, and clampingrods are arranged in the ro
