The invention relates to a cognition capability evaluation system based on a daily behavior of an old person and a method. The system comprises a server and a plurality of behavior sensors, wherein the server acquires daily behavior data correlated with a user in an implicit perception manner through the plurality of behavior sensors which are disposed in a living space of the user. The server evaluate cognition capability of the user at least according to the behavior data which are related with the user for obtaining a cognition capability score of the user. The system and the method realizelong-term monitoring to the behavior data of the old person through perception technology, and further realizes evaluation to the cognition capability of the old person.
