The method is based on an element measuring result and utilizes a step-by-step separating methodon measured result data. According to an area mineral composition and the chemical formula of each mineral, screening is performed on an element measuring result, thereby determining characteristic elements, and calculating the percentage content of each characteristic mineral which corresponds with the characteristic elements.
