Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a system that can efficiently create map data which does not include dynamic object information. A map creation system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a mobile body comprising a distance sensor that measures the distance and angle to a plurality of measurement points on a peripheral object, and outputs distance information, which is acompilation of the distances and angles. The map creation system creates an object location map in which is recorded position information expressing the position at which the object is located, by collecting, from the distance sensor, first distance information measured when the mobile body is at a first position and second distance information measured when the mobile body is at a second position, and combining the two.
