Wireless Power System With In-Band Communication

The invention discloses a wireless power system with in-band communication. A wireless power receiving device has a receive coil that receives wireless power signals from a wireless power transmittingdevice and has a rectifier that produces direct-current power from the received wireless power signals. The receive coil of the wireless power receiving device is coupled to wireless transceiver circuitry. Similarly the transmit coil of the wireless power transmitting device is coupled to wireless transceiver circuitry. The wireless transceiver circuitry in the wireless power receiving device ortransmitting may be configured to generate and/or modulate one or more data carrier waves using any desired modulation scheme. The one or more modulated data carrier waves are transmitted between thetransmit coil and the receive coil of the corresponding wireless power transmitting and receiving devices.
