Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a sideboard floating control system for milling and planing machinery. The system comprises a gear pump, a left sideboard lifting oil cylinder, a right sideboard lifting oil cylinder, a floating valve, a one-way hydraulic lock and a three-position four-way reversing valve. The oil outlet of the gear pump is connected to the oil inlet of the three-position four-way reversingvalve, the oil return port of the three-position four-way reversing valve is connected to an oil tank, the first working oil part of the three-position four-way reversing valve is separately connected to large cavities of the left sideboard lifting oil cylinder and the right sideboard lifting oil cylinder, the second working oil port of the three-position four-way reversing valve is connected tothe oil inlet of the floating valve through the one-way hydraulic lock, and the first working oil port of the floating valve is separately connected to small cavities of the left sideboard lifting oilcylinder and the right sid
