Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an installation (1) for producing three-dimensional objects from material powder, by compacting this material powder located on a process area (42) layer by layer at such points of the respective layer (40) that correspond to the object being produced at the time on the basis of geometrical data, wherein the installation (1) comprises a process base (46), surrounding the process area, and a powder feeding device (10) for feeding, providing and distributing the powder on the process area (42), wherein the powder feeding device (10) comprises: a transporting element (12)for feeding powder into the powder feeding device (10), a storage space (14), into which the at least one transporting element (12) feeds the powder, a process transporting element (16), which can act on powder in the storage space (14) to provide the powder in a metered amount next to the process area (42) on the process base (46) and a process slide (18) for distributing the powder provided next to the process area (42
