The motorcycle engine comprises an air cylinder, an air cylinder head, a camshaft assembly, an intermediate shaft assembly and a crankshaft assembly; an airinlet pipe is installed at the front end of the air cylinder head, an air inlet valve and an air exhaust valve are installed on the air cylinder head, and the air inlet valve is located in front of the air exhaust valve; the camshaft assembly comprises an air inlet camshaft assembly and an air exhaust camshaft assembly, and the air inlet camshaft assembly and the air exhaust camshaft assembly areinstalled at the top end of the air cylinder side by side; the intermediate shaft assembly is arranged on one side of the air cylinder and provided with an intermediate shaft; and the crankshaft assembly is arranged under the air cylinder and provided with a crankshaft, the rotation direction of the crankshaft is clockwise, and the speed ratio of the crankshaft to the intermediate shaft is 2:1.
