Zusammenfassung:	A sheet glass G having a product section Ga and a non-product section Gb that are bounded by a scribe line S formed in a first main surface G1 is snap-cut along the scribe line S by pressing, with a snap-cutting member 51, a second main surface G2 of the sheet glass G at a location corresponding to the scribe line S into the first main surface G1 side in a state where the first main surface G1 ofthe product section Ga is pressed by a first pressing member 31 and the first main surface G1 of the non-product section Gb is pressed by a second pressing member 41. The first pressing member 31 comprises a brush-like member, and the second pressing member 41 comprises a columnar elastic member. 玻璃板(G)具有以形成于第一主面(G1)的划刻线(S)为分界的产品部(Ga)及非产品部(Gb)，在利用第一按压构件(31)对玻璃板(G)中的产品部(Ga)的第一主面(G1)进行按压、且利用第二按压构件(41)对玻璃板(G)中的非产品部(Gb)的第一主面(G1)进行按压的状态下，在与划刻线(S)对应的位置处，利用折断构件(51)将玻璃板(G)的第二主面(G2)向第一主面(G1)侧推压，从而沿着划刻线(S)将玻璃板(G)折断。第一按压构件(31)由刷状构件构成，第二按压构件(41)由圆柱状的弹性构件构成。
