TRAILER COUPLING HAVING A CONNECTION DEVICE

The invention relates to a trailer coupling (10) having a support arrangement (11) that is fastened, or can be fastened, to a motor vehicle (90), on which a bearing (13) is mounted, wherein on the bearing (13) a coupling element (20), in particular a coupling arm (23), can be moved by means of an adjustment movement between a use position (G) which is suitable for coupling a trailer (95) or load carrier (195) to the coupling element (20), and in which when the trailer coupling is mounted on the motor vehicle (90) the coupling element projects rearwardly of the motor vehicle (90), and a non-useposition (N) in which the coupling element is advantageously moved back behind a bumper (92) of the motor vehicle. On the coupling element, a connecting device (60) for connecting an on-board network(99) of the trailer or load carrier (195) to an on-board network (93) of the motor vehicle is provided. The connecting device (60) is connected, or connectable, to the on-board network (93) of the motor vehicle by means of a
