The invention discloses a novel prestressed anchor bolt fan foundation and method. The fan foundation comprises an anchor bolt assembly and a lower supporting component. The lower supporting componentis connected with the anchor bolt assembly above the lower supporting component through a connecting piece. The construction method of the fan foundation comprises the steps of on-site design, assembly of the lower supporting component, embedding of an embedded plate, assembly of the anchor bolt assembly, installation of the anchor bolt assembly and the lower supporting component, leveling pouring and the like.
