The invention discloses a centralized distribution method and device for channels and bandwidths. The method comprises the following steps: issuing a full-channel scanning instruction to each wirelessaccess point AP included in the WLAN system, so that each AP included in the WLAN system performs full-channel air interface scanning, and reports an air interface scanning result and radio frequencyinformation; initializing the interference of the whole network according to the air interface scanning result and the radio frequency information reported by each AP included in the WLAN system; determining a channel and a bandwidth of each AP included in the WLAN system which minimizes the interference value of the whole network through an optimization method; and issuing the channel and the bandwidth of each AP included in the WLAN system to the corresponding AP.
