The invention relates to a method for monitoring on-orbit performance attenuation of a spacecraft storage battery. The method comprises the following steps that determining the discharge current IBat-out of a storage battery pack; determining a voltage variation d [U (t)] of the storage battery pack under an on-orbit shadow period discharge working condition; determining the ohmic internal resistance r of the storage battery based on the discharge current IBat-out and the voltage variation d [U (t)] ; determining voltage VBat-max (t) of the battery pack after multiple charging ends; determining a charging rate Rate (t) of a charging process of the battery pack; and determining on-orbit performance attenuation of the battery pack according to the ohmic internal resistance r, the voltage VBat-max (t) and the charging rate Rate (t). Through the method, the on-orbit performance attenuation of the storage battery can be effectively and reliably monitored, so that the energy safety and the energy economy of the spa
