The air conditioner defrosting control method comprises the following steps of acquiring the indoor coil temperature and the outdoor coil temperature of the air conditioner in real time; calculating temperature difference delta T according to the indoor coil temperature and the outdoor coil temperature; and performing defrosting when the temperature difference delta T is greater than or equal to a preset temperature difference threshold. If the temperature difference delta T is continuously greater than or equal to the temperature difference threshold during operation of the air conditioner, the temperature difference threshold is updated to the temperature difference delta T; and when an exit condition is satisfied, the air conditioner is controlled to stop defrosting.
