The present invention relates to a vehicle headlamp comprising a headlamp housing; and at least one optical module configured to emit light beams; and further comprising: a module carrier supporting at least one optical module and mounted in the headlamp housing to be inclined; a control device having a sensor device and a memory and configured to detect at least one operating parameter of the vehicle headlamp using the sensor device; and an assembly for adjusting an illumination range disposed between the headlamp housing and the module carrier and having an operating device configured to allow the module carrier to be relatively inclined to the headlamp housing. The control device uses at least one detected operating parameter when at least one reference value, written on the memory, isread. Moreover, the control device transmits one or more reference values to the assembly for adjusting an illumination range for controlling the operating device while using at least one reference value.
