Zusammenfassung:Powertrains of vehicles normally have a motor and a transmission. In particular, the motor and the transmission are spatially separated from each other and are connected together via a driveshaft. Thetransmission is lubricated by means of a lubricant, wherein losses can occur due to splashing at high rotational speeds, leading to high temperatures in the transmission for example. As a result of the different heat levels between the two compartments, a differential pressure is produced which negatively impacts the shaft seal ring. In order to reduce the splashing-related losses, separating means are provided for example which retain the lubricant. For this purpose, a drive assembly (1) is proposed for a vehicle, comprising a motor housing section (2) and a transmission housing section (3).The motor housing section (2) has a dry area (4), and the transmission housing section (3) has an oil area (5), said oil area (5) being at least partly filled with an oil (6).
