Water-intercepting brick capable of water retention and cooling and manufacturing method thereof

The invention discloses a water-intercepting brick capable of water retention and cooling. The water-intercepting brick comprises an uppermost water permeable surface layer, wherein a water-intercepting layer is arranged under the water permeable surface layer; the side surfaces and the bottom surface of the water-intercepting layer are wrapped by a hard protective layer; the bottom surface of thewater-intercepting brick is provided with a high end surface and low end surfaces; and a water overflowing opening is arranged at the high end surface. Compared with an ordinary water permeable brick, the water-intercepting brick capable of water retention and cooling has the advantages of good capillary suction function, excellent cooling effect, reduction of land surface temperature, adjustmentof air humidity, effective mitigation of the urban heat island effect, large water-intercepting quantity, conservation of materials and energy, good mechanical properties and the like, and is suitable for widespread use on mu
