The invention relates to the technical field of pharmaceutical and chemical synthesis, and discloses a methodfor producing the (S)-2-(3,4-difluorophenyl)ethylene oxide in one step through an asymmetric epoxidation reaction with a chiral Salen-manganese complex as a catalyst and 3,4-difluorostyrene as a substrate, wherein the ee value of the obtained target product is greater than 91%.
