The invention relates to a frame-type villa elevator equipped with infrared scanning and detecting devices. The frame-type villa elevator comprises an elevator shaft, a car-wall-free lifting platformand a hydraulic column, wherein the car-wall-free lifting platform is mounted inside the elevator shaft in an up-down moving manner; the hydraulic column is vertically mounted between the lower end surface of the car-wall-free lifting platform and the elevator shaft; a gap is left between the car-wall-free lifting platform and the inner wall of the elevator shaft; four infrared transmitters whichcorrespond to the gap are mounted at the inner top of the elevator shaft; and infrared receivers which correspond to the infrared transmitters are mounted inside the lower end of the elevator shaft.
