The invention discloses a terminal device identification method and system and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining equipment identification information and equipmentfeature information of accessed terminal device; matching the equipment identification information with equipment identification information in an equipment information database; if the matching is successful, obtaining equipment information associated with the equipment identification information in the equipment information database as equipment information of the terminal device; and if the matching is unsuccessful, utilizing a feature information rule set to match the device feature information, obtaining device information of the terminal device according to a matching result, the featureinformation rule set comprising a plurality of regular rules, and the regular rules being used for describing a matching relationship between the device feature information and the device information. The terminal device iden
