Zusammenfassung: | This invention concerns a method of monitoring an additive manufacturing process, in which an object (103) is built in a layer-by-layer manner by directing a laser beam (118a, 118b) using at least onemovable guiding element (150a, 150b) of a scanner (157a, 157b) to solidify selected regions of a material bed. The method comprises recording position values (Thetan,Phin) generated from a transducer(153, 154) measuring positions of the at least one movable guiding element (150a, 150b), recording sensor values (Sn) generated from a sensor (161a, 161b) for detecting radiation emitted from the material bed and transmitted to the sensor (161a, 161b) by the movable guiding element (150a, 150b) of the scanner (157a, 157b), and associating each sensor value (Sn) with a corresponding one of the position values (Thetan,Phin).
