| Zusammenfassung: | A showerhead engine (8) includes a first plate (10) joined to a second plate (24) with a cavity therebetween. Water enters the cavity through an angled hole in the first plate (10) and flows in a swirling motion about the central axis (36). A paddle wheel (38) is spun within the cavity by the swirling water. A notched cutout (44) in the paddle wheel (38) forms an exit passage through a through hole in the second plate (24) allowing the water to exit when the notched cutout lines up with slots (50) in the second plate (24). The revolving paddle wheel (38) continues to revolve thereby revolvingthe notched cutout (44) and producing a revolving spray pattern.
