The embodiment of the invention provides a wetland damage remote sensing identification method and device. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring the land utilization data of a target area in a first preset historical time period, acquiring wetland type data and damaged spatial distribution and damaged types of wetlands according to the land utilization data, acquiring a maximum wetland range according to the wetland type data, and dividing the maximum wetland range into a plurality of sub-areas; obtaining image data of each sub-region in a second preset historical time period,dividing the second preset historical time period into a plurality of sub-time periods, obtaining a plurality of wetland elements of each sub-region in each sub-time period according to the image dataof each sub-region in each sub-time period, and calculating the damage degree of each wetland element of each sub-region in each sub-time period; and determining the damage mode of each sub-region according to the wetland ele
