Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a preparation method for a high-Verdet constant magneto-optic optical fiber. The method includes the following steps that: a modified chemical vapor deposition method is utilized to deposit GeO2 and SiO2 on the inner surface of a base pipe; a high-temperature evaporation deposition method is utilized to uniformly deposit terbium oxide particles on the inner surface of the base pipe; the modified chemical vapor deposition method is utilized to sequentially deposit an outer cladding layer, an inner cladding layer and a doped core layer on the inner surface of the base pipe, and high temperature shrinkage is performed, so that a solid rod can be obtained, namely an optical fiber preformed rod can be obtained; the optical fiber preformed rod is drawn, so that an opticalfiber can be obtained.
