Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control device for an internal combustion engine, and aims to prevent dewing of water in the gas inlet when the internal combustion machine is stopped. Provided is a controldevice for an internal combustion engine that includes: a water-cooled cooler (intercooler) (22) arranged at at least one of a portion of an intake air passage (12) located on the upstream side of anintake port (50) and an EGR passage (32); and a water pump (62) configured to supply a cooling water with the cooler (22). The control device (ECU) (40) is configured: to execute a water supply operation that supplies the cooling water with the cooler by actuating the water pump when its execution condition which includes a requirement that a cooler temperature (Tc) is higher than a cooling watertemperature (Tw) is met during stop of the internal combustion engine (10); and not to execute the water supply operation when the cooler temperature (Tc) is lower than or equal to the cooling watertemperature (Tw) during stop
