Zusammenfassung: | Provided is a parking control device that includes a detection unit and a determination unit. The detection unit detects a detection point group, which is an aggregate of a plurality of detection points of an obstacle, on the basis of information of reflected waves which are reflected transmission waves, the reflected waves being from a plurality of other vehicle groups parked adjacent to a parking space and being received by an ultrasonic sensor that transmits the transmission waves. The determination unit determines whether the parking space is a parallel parking space or a perpendicular parking space, on the basis of the position of the hollow shape in the outline pattern formed by the detection point group pattern.
