The invention provides a dust collector. The dust collector (100) comprises the components of a sucking port forming part (110) which forms a sucking port (111) that is used for sucking dust of a cleaning device; and a dust collecting mechanism (120) which is used for applying a sucking force to the sucking port (111) and collects the sucked dust. The sucking port forming part (110) comprises thecomponents of a lateral extending edge (112) which extends to the side part at a position that is separated from ground by a preset height; and a pair of gap edges (113) which bend to the back part from the end of the lateral extending edge (112) and forms a gap area that is arranged in a manner of recessing from the end of an open area formed between the ground and the lateral extending edge (112) to back side.
