The fire-proof and heat-insulating lightweight wallboard comprises an overall layer andan embedded layer; the embedded layer is modified grid cloth and is uniformly arranged in the overall layer, and the length, the width and the thickness are 50 millimeters, 50 millimeters and 2.5 millimeters respectively; the modified grid cloth is produced by the following steps: firstly cutting the grid cloth to a required size, repeatedly grinding the two sides of the grid cloth with a sand paper till villous short fibers appear, then putting in styrene-butadiene-rubber latex with a temperature of 75 DEG C to soak for 30 minutes, taking out and uniformly pricking out needle holes with a steel needle, and drying and cooling to obtain the modified grid cloth with a gelatinous interlayer attached onto the surface.
