The embodiments of the invention provide proximity sensor calibration methods, electronic devices and a computer readable memory medium and relates to the technical field of a mobile terminal. A method comprises the steps of obtaining a plurality of continuous proximity sensor values when an infrared lamp of a proximity sensor is turned off; computing a calibration reference value of the proximitysensor according to the plurality of continuous proximity sensor values; confirming whether the calibration reference value and the plurality of continuous proximity sensor values satisfy a calibration triggering condition or not if the calibration reference value is greater than a first value; and increasing a proximity threshold of the proximity sensor by a second value if the calibration triggering condition is satisfied.
