Relating to the technical field of ceramic material preparation, the invention specifically discloses a composite ceramic material containing carbon nanotubes and a preparation method thereof. The method includes the steps of: (1) dispersing carbon nanotubes in ethanol, and then putting the mixture into grinding equipment for grinding to obtain a carbon nanotube slurry; (2) adding a dispersant into the carbon nanotube slurry prepared in step (1), conducting ultrasonic dispersion for 10-20min, and then performing drying to obtain dispersant-doped carbon nanotubes; and (3) mixing the dispersant-doped carbon nanotubes prepared in step (2), a binder and ceramic powder, stirring the substances evenly, and then performing pressing to obtain a green body; and subjecting the green body to degreasing sintering, thus obtaining the composite ceramic material containing carbon nanotubes.
