ASSESSMENT OF PRIMER CONTENT ON A PRINT SUBSTRATE

Herein is described a method for assessing primer composition coat weight on a print substrate. The method comprises providing a primed print substrate and spectroscopically analysing the primed printsubstrate using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy by attenuated total reflectance (ATR) to produce a FTIR spectrum.
