Housing accessory and connector assembly using the same

The invention relates to a housing accessory and a connector assembly using the same. The connector assembly comprises a connector having a connector case and a housing accessory. The housing accessory includes an accessory body connected to the connector case; the accessory body is provided with at least one pair of clamping arms that cooperate with each other to clamp a corresponding adapter connector; each clamping arm has a clamping end; and at least one clamping arm is provided with a handle portion for controlling the clamping arm to carry out delocking. Since the clamping arms are arranged at the additionally arranged housing accessory, the connector does not need to be processed additionally. When the connector assembly is in use, the housing accessory is installed and connected atthe connector case to realize normal usage; and in specific application, one type of housing accessory can be designed and made for one same type of one same series of connectors and improvement of the old connector is not n
