Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a wheel dimension detection method and system based on two-dimensional laser position detection technology and relates to the field of automatic measurement of geometric dimension of a wheel set. The method is characterized by emitting n(n>=4) linear laser to the wheel first, wherein in the wheel advancing process, the wheel cuts the linear laser, and the linear laser and arim vertex circle form n(n>=4) intersection points Pi totally; obtaining three-dimensional coordinates Pi (Xi, Yi, Zi) of the intersection points Pi; detecting vertical position change amount of eachemitting point, and correcting the three-dimensional coordinates of the intersection points Pi; and according to the corrected three-dimensional coordinates of the intersection points Pi, obtaining radius R of the vertex circle and the three-dimensional coordinate of the circle center O. The method and system can accurately measure wheel rim dimension and tread wear extent of the wheel in the dynamic operation process, an
