The invention relates to a multifunctional comb, a comb assembly and a method. The multifunctional comb comprises a comb tooth portion. The comb tooth portion comprises a filler barrel, a plurality oflong comb teeth and short comb teeth are arranged at the bottom of the filler barrel, the long comb teeth and the short comb teeth are distributed in a staggered manner, the short comb teeth are of hollow structures, an opening is formed in the top of the filler barrel, an elastic film is mounted at the opening, a shell is connected with the top of the filler barrel by elastic components and is fixedly connected with one end of a compression rod, the other end of the compression rod penetrates the elastic film, a piston is fixed to the other end of the compression rod, a plurality of compression comb teeth which are matched with the short comb teeth are arranged on the piston, the compression rod is used for driving the compression comb teeth to enter spaces inside the short comb teeth, and liquid inside the shor
