A main clutch section (101) is provided with a friction facing (71), a cushioning plate (70), and a connecting member (74). The friction facing (71) is configured so as to be capable of coming into contact with a flywheel (6) and a pressure plate (7). The cushioning plate (70) supports the friction facing (71). The cushioning plate (70) comprises a detection unit (83) for detecting wear in the friction facing (71).
