The present disclosure discloses a method for controlling an access control machine through a wearable device. The method includes the following steps that: in order to perform access control authorization of a wearable device associated with a client on the access control machine, the wearable device identifier of the wearable device, and the device identifier of the access control machine are acquired; the access control authority of the wearable device on the access control machine indicated by the device identifier is configured according to the wearable device identifier, so that the verification information of the wearable device can be obtained; and the verification information of the wearable device is sent to the access control machine, so that the access control machine can perform access control verification according to the verification information, and perform a release action according to the access control authority of the wearable device. Therefore, with the method adopted, the problem that an
