Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for predicting coal seam thickness based on a waveform classification seismic facies technology. The method is suitable for prediction and interpretation before the disclosure of coal seam thickness. According to the method of the invention, on the basis of the drilling constrained waveform classification seismic facies technology, borehole-side seismic trace waveforms are extracted so as to be adopted as samples for seismic facies identification training; mapping relationships between coal seam thickness and seismic facies is established; the seismic facies ofa work area is identified based on a neural network; and seismic facies information is transformed into coal seam thickness information for guiding the prediction of coal seam thickness. With the above method adopted, the prediction and interpretation of a regional identical-coal seam thickness interval can be realized.
