The invention relates to a positioning method and device based on the Internet of Vehicles. The positioning method and device are applied to vehicles. The method comprises the following steps that m target information sent by m roadside units is obtained, and the target information sent by any one of the roadside units comprises the identification number of any roadside unit, the time for sendingthe target information to any roadside unit, and the position information of any roadside unit, wherein m is a positive integer greater than or equal to 3, according to the m receiving time of the m target information and m time in the m target information, the distance between the vehicle and the m roadside units is determined, and according to the distance between the vehicle and the m roadsideunits and m position information in the m target information, a target position of the vehicle is determined. According to the method, satellite navigation signals can be weakened or disappear under the condition that the sate
