A low-frequency alternating voltage which is subjected to direct current inversion is added between an isolated fault line and the ground through a portable field-adjustable alternating-current power supply, a current flow direction of a butt joint position is measured through an insulating rod type wireless alternating-current tong-type ammeter, searching is preformed along the current flow direction of the butt joint position and towards an unknown fault pointstep by step, and the low-voltage ground fault point is found.
