The flame-retardant wood adhesive is prepared from, by weight, 60-80 parts of phenolic resin, 20-40 parts of epoxy resin, 3-9 parts of polyvinyl butyral, 5-8 parts of a fire retardant, 15-20 parts of flexibilizer and 0.2-0.8 part of a dispersing agent, wherein the fire retardant is a mixture of distyrene bromide, antimonous oxide and heavy calcium carbonate powder, and the mass ratio of the distyrene bromide to the antimonous oxide to the heavy calcium carbonate powder is (1-2):(3-5):(2-3).
