Printhead assembly and inkjet printer

The invention discloses a printhead assembly and an inkjet printer. The printhead assembly includes: an ink reservoir for receiving and accommodating ink; a printhead chip in fluid communication withthe ink reservoir to eject ink onto a printing medium; an ink filtration tower including a chamber that accommodates ink from a reservoir; a plurality of extension elements spaced apart from each other and substantially parallel to each other; and a free floating member including a bridge member and a plurality of handles extending from the bridge member and substantially parallel to each other, at least one of the plurality of handles being located in one of a plurality of grooves defined by the plurality of extending elements such that the free floating member is free to float relative to the plurality of extending elements when the ink filtration tower is filled with ink.
