Niobium hydroxide is dispersed into an oxalic acid solution and heated to form a transparent solution, an ammonia water solution is dropwise added into the transparent solution until white precipitate is completely separated out, and the white precipitate is washed after centrifugal separation and dissolved in a citric acid solution after being washed; monohydrate lithium hydroxideis added for reacting with hydrated rare earth nitrate, ATP is added after the reaction to form a transparent solution precursor solution, the transparent solution precursor solution is heated to be dry, then gel is obtained, the gel is calcined in a muffle furnace, and the rare-earth-doped lithium niobate/attapulgite composite photocatalytic material is prepared.
