Rare metal industrial wastewater is sequentially subjected to the steps of solid-liquid separation, slagging, solid-liquid separation, electrolysis, solid-liquid separation and the like. Composite adsorption macroporous resin is added in a slagging process; an ion exchange membrane is activated before electrolysis; oxygen is introduced into an anode chamber during the electrolysis process; and an ultrasonic treatment process is carried out after electrolysis,so that the decomposition rate of oxalic acid is improved, the acid recovery rate is improved, and removal rates of Mg, Ca and chemical oxygen demand (COD) are increased. Acid resources in the wastewater are recycled again, the impurity content is reduced, and requirements of the emission standard are greatly met.
