Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to application of Podocarpus macrophyllus fruit polysaccharide in preparation of a medicament for preventing and treating liver cancer or a health food. The Podocarpus macrophyllus fruit polysaccharide is obtained by taking fruits of Podocarpus plants in Podocarpaceae, that is, Podocarpus macrophyllus(Thunb.)D. Don or Podocarpus macrophyllus(Thunb.)D. Don var. maki(Sieb.)Endl. as raw materials, and conducting water extraction, protein removal and column chromatography purification. The Podocarpus macrophyllus fruit polysaccharide has a significant inhibitory effect on tumor growth of liver cancer-bearing mice. The Podocarpus macrophyllus fruit polysaccharide can be made into capsules, oral liquids or granules after appropriate pharmaceutical adjuvants in a certain proportion are added. When used in prevention and treatment of liver cancer, the Podocarpus macrophyllus fruit polysaccharide has no toxic and side effects such as nausea, vomiting, alopecia andmyelosuppression and othe
