Zusammenfassung:Sodium silicate, water glass, or silica gel, which does not have methane synthesizing activity, is used as binder and ammonium, sodium or pottasium nitrates as gelatinizer. If silica gel is used as binder, it may be mixed with zeolite and formed before, during and after modification of zeolite to make modified zeolite have high selectivity to dimethylamine (over 60%). The sum of the selectivities to methylamine and dimethylamine is over 90%. After roasted, it has high strength (80 N/sq.cm).
